Anthony Cook

Anthony Cook (* 1818, † 13.05.1906) war ein Florist aus Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Er wurde als Anton Koch in Derkheim (Bad Dürkheim), Rheinland-Pfalz, Deutschland als Sohn eines Gärtners geboren, wanderte 1842 aus und gründete in Baltimore eine Gärtnerei und beschäftigte sich mit Rosen.
Anthony Cook wird gern mit dem ebenfalls aus Deutschland stammenden und in Baltimore wirkenden Züchter John Cook verwechselt.
